I remember being a kid getting stuff for my birthday or Christmas that I couldn’t use because the gift giver didn’t provide batteries or we simply didn’t have the correct ones at home. It sucked starring at cool toys that were mine but were unable to be used.

Do children require batteries these days? When I was a kid, we ran mostly on breakfast cereal and PB &J.

Unless you’re giving them to your nephews. That’s half the fun it’s watching their parents panic to find the correct batteries.
