Reply to comment by irishdancer2 in LPT: To heat yourself during the winter, have a hot water bottle on your legs while sitting down doing your work, it will conduct through the rest of your body and will heat you almost the same as a heater would do at a small fraction of the cost. Energy prices are far too much, be safe this winter by LightConquersDark_

I call it my "hot sock". Whenever I go to heat it up, I sing my very dumb little hot sock jingle to myself; "hot sock, hot sock; sock that is hot". It brings me joy

It’s the simple joys that keep us going sometime.

The one I have now is one my mom made. It’s better somehow than one I made myself.
