Absolutely! I do clothing shopping, which is a need, during Black Friday sales. I save a lot of money that way. Plus most places stack Black Friday 50% off on top of Clearance, which is absolutely life saving for people like me. I especially shop for work attire during this time since I really can't afford to others times of the year.

Not all needs are urgent needs.

Unless you want to break your life down to be as utilitarian as you possibly can, and at that point, what even is the point?
