Or just use the discounts on your actual birthday and save it for people? I use my 20% off at bath and body works for a huge haul of things that I will give to others in my family, there’s plenty of discount codes given this time of year anyways.

It’s not your employer. It’s for customer accounts and stuff. They have no need for my actual birthdate so I always give a fake one.
