While the RR does not own ALL the trains on it's tracks, it DOES know exactly where every train on their tracks are at (almost) all times.

That being said, there might not be time to stop a train for a car stuck on the track. Get out of the car fast and THEN call 911. Some trains take over a mile to stop, depending upon the grade and speed of the train.
