Exactly. A sack of rice, potatoes and vegetables will get you much further than a burger and small fries for the same price.

If you are having food problems, stay the F away from fast food places! Go to the store and buy some real food with whatever limited amount of money you have - not waste it on fast food (which has gotten really expensive).
