Reply to comment by the1slyyy in LPT: Pick at least 1 day a year to check/replace/remove dying batteries, not just in smoke alarms. Weather radios, older remotes, anywhere they may leak and ruin devices. And recycle, don't toss the old ones. Time change dates are easiest to remember, or set 1 or 2 annual reminders. by Njtotx3
I'm not sure how many people use batteries enough to do this. I/we used to, as a kid. Then cell phones/usb came around.
(So yes, rechargeable)
