Reply to comment by ramriot in LPT: Pick at least 1 day a year to check/replace/remove dying batteries, not just in smoke alarms. Weather radios, older remotes, anywhere they may leak and ruin devices. And recycle, don't toss the old ones. Time change dates are easiest to remember, or set 1 or 2 annual reminders. by Njtotx3
I work in IT and I see it a lot but I also see a TON of battery run equipment.
