Weather radios, older remotes, anywhere they may leak and ruin devices. And recycle, don't toss the old ones. Time change dates are easiest to remember, or set 1 or 2 annual reminders. by Njtotx3
Yeah, I've had plenty of leaky corroding batteries but I've always been able to clean the battery compartment up so it works again.
