Been thinking about some of the things I can easily take for granted, and it made me realise that I have a few things that didn't cost me a lot (relatively speaking), but that really make me happier:

- A small space heater (~20 bucks) - for those cold winter mornings to fight the chill, I feel so comforted sipping my hot coffee in front of the electric heater for a few minutes.
- Mini waterproof bluetooth speaker (~30 bucks) - having music in the shower, while cooking or outdoors while working out in an empty parking lot, my little speaker really lights things up when earbuds aren't practical to wear.
- S.A.D. lamp (~30 bucks) - Short winter days when you're mostly indoors with little sunlight can be cosy, but also depressing. Getting a "Seasonal Affective Disorder" lamp really changed the game for me, with a noticeable overall increase in mood over two winters (and counting).
- Cheap power tower (~60 bucks) - These can run much more expensive, but you only need a basic one to do the job. Having a power tower in my room made it impossible to avoid working out... The pull-up bar is always 2 meters away from you! Incredible for building strength when you're too lazy to hit the gym.

I have owned all of these items for years now, and can say that they consistently improve my life in a significant way.

Hope you have an awesome day!
