Nah. Often broken bones will be stronger than they were before, if they are broken in a manner capable of healing properly, which is usually. Each of those things I mentioned has happened to a different family member of mine and they were fine in less than a year
The tip along this theme that I think has value is to consider how important something is by how long it's effects will be felt: 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or 1 decade.
They are all very different - but some important stuff will still have an impact in the 1 year or less categories.
