You can get box of 50 cheap ziplocks for under $2 at any dollar store or Walmart. I like to save money but reusing sandwich bags is ridiculous.

They need to be eliminated. Small plastic boxes are cheap and reusable. Washing sandwich bags is the same as using both sides of toilet paper.

Reuse is part of the solution. Trying to minimize your impact is what we strive for. OPs advice isn’t entirely bad.

The problem is that plastic bags are porous and can have microbes living inside the walls. Everyone knows that bidets are great though. Unfortunately they are very rare in the US. Everyone here uses toilet paper.

I mentioned 1 gallon bags. I don't use or try to clean little baggies. Items with a large volume are harder to keep. I have reusable Tupperware for sandwiches.
