However long it takes- using picture cards or any other learning tricks, you should make them memorize it. That way if they ever get lost etc., they can ask a store employee to call you. by v-shizzle
We didn’t do Jingle Bells, but my wife made up a song for both the phone number and address. We haven’t lived at that address for years, but both still remember the song.

Yep! We made a rap for our phone number, and a song for our address. My barely four year old son (and older cousins) learned our numbers easily. Coincidently my niece sung my address to me a couple of days ago. I taught them the song over twenty years ago.
