That punchline seems a little out of date given the money that Steve Cohen is splashing around. Maybe make it the Reds?

You may be right, but as a Braves fan I just assume everyone hates the Mets. Reds? Did they choke as bad as the Mets did last year? I mean Jesus, that was epic.

Yeah, but they are a like able team. I see what you’re saying and really don’t have an argument. When I thought of the joke it was between the Phils, Mets, and Nats. Like I say Being a Braves fan may have skewed my punchline, but I just assumed everyone hates the Mets. Except Gary. Wtf is wrong with you Gary?

The Mets haven’t won enough to be widely hated outside of their division. For the joke you don’t want a hated team (since often teams are hated due to their success, see the Yankees and more recently the Astros), you want a hopeless team (Reds, A’s).

The whole city is fantastic! If I had a yacht I would tailgate every baseball/football game there ever! But ever since they quit wearing those weird caps, they’ve sucked
