Thank you for this feedback! May I ask what phone you are using? I only have an iPhone for real-world testing. Did you check out the "View Demo Account" functionality? If so, how did that look on your phone?

iPhone 7.
So, being blunt, I didn’t end up clicking any links because I wasn’t hooked and there was too much to read. There needs to be a single line that defines what makes your product great at the very top that convinces your users that it’s worth going further.
As someone who has gone through lots of job searches, I haven’t used paper submissions in decades so implying that your software is better at tracking than paper makes it seem super outdated. Focus on why it is valuable to the user and sell it in a single statement.

You should hire a web designer to help you out a bit.
If you can't afford that, you could do the following small tweaks to make the site look better:
- The main font color should be black or very dark gray, not this odd blueish green.
- Get someone design you a logo. "MAJ" with the "A" awkwardly positioned does not look great. You can get a logo designed for you for a couple bucks at Fiverr or similar websites.
- Use different color for the buttons. Now you have clickable elements (buttons) and non clickable elements (e.g. the top navigation bar) that look basically identical. This is bad for usability, when users need to be guessing what is clickable and what is not.
- There is no need to have 10 CTA buttons in the front page. 1-3 CTA buttons would be enough.
- Right now, the website as well as the UI of your web app is visually dull. An easy way to fix this would be to add some colorful icons. You can buy professional looking icons at 1-2 usd for one, or use some free icons collections.
There are also some bugs in the website. For example, there is no input validation in the signup form. One could even click the Create button without making any inputs at all.
Looking at the demo account, the web app itself looks pretty useful, if I'm being honest. If you invested into making the UI look really nice and fun to use, this could be a cool product!

Based on your kind feedback, I have implemented your suggestions, except for the logo design which is in progress. Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback and encouragement.

Thank you for the kind words! I am an engineer, not an artist, so my visual design skills are negligible.

I wouldn't say I'm roasting it, but rather it seems basic. Simple. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it just doesn't stand out to similar sites.
I'm not a fan of the color scheme either, but that's personal taste. It reminds me of older operating systems.

Heads up that the site is pretty difficult to read on mobile. The text sizing is a little odd and the graphics are way too small. The other issue is that there is a LOT of text to scroll through. I’d recommend trying to make the homepage as lean as possible and move the details to a separate page for folks who want more info
