It's there in the urban areas, but it's always crowded. In rural areas it's crowded to a whole other level. There has been a lot of medical aid from developed countries with things like pills and mosquito nets, vaccines, some healthcare like AIDS consultation, fistula treatment,TB treatment and most child vaccination is free... Advanced healthcare like neurosurgery is unavailable, though we're getting there.. Generally if you don't have health insurance you're as good as dead, though cash patients get treated faster. And yes, many doctors would gladly take some money for you to jump the line.

How is life there overall? Is there a lot of crime? Are people generally happy? Ive also heard that there are wars going on at least in some parts of Africa (dont remember which places in Africa), how bad are they and how much truth is there to them since media is known to lie and exaggerate things?

I generally think life is hard because you have to work for what you want no matter what country you live in, but honestly in third world countries there are more poor people than rich people. Poor here goes to another extreme; there are so many people who live below $5 a day. People here have their own set of income tiers, for instance, if you earn$500 a month, you're like, really lucky. Many people are happy but I think that's because 99% are religious. I don't live in a war country but I can say things are way worse there...

How do you feel about the terms “third/second/first world” country?
joshuatemu t1_irfek9p wrote
People here are absolutely neutral about that, though I've heard it's offensive, people take it as a sort of, fancy vocabulary
