Considering University of Hartford, but can barely find anything online about their marketing major. No rankings, degrees handed out, or any real statistics other than course descriptions.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

I dont mean to dissuade you but, the issue with UHart is that they charge a full private university education price but they dont totally provide a private university standard of excellence. They dont really rank nationally or even really regionally and the list of notable alumni is fairly short. CCSU which is nearby has roughly the same standard of education with similar acceptance and graduation rates with half the endowment and 1/4th the cost.

With all that said, if you like the place and have a scholarship than by all means go to the school of your choice. The place I work at does actively recruit from CCSU and UHart, but CCSU does have a bachelors in marketing degree rather than just a concentration.

you’d be way better off at CCSU. Cheaper with equal or higher academics

Looks like it is a B.S. in Business Administration and you take the marketing courses in your junior and senior year.

This page has the University statement about the school but that isn't really helpful.

What are the reasons for choosing the school? There are probably better schools. Although, I'm not sure how I feel about having more marketing graduates in the world. You should use your powers for good.

Charities, non profits and the civil service all have marketing needs and marketing positions to fill. Whatever you think of as “good,” there’s a need to market it.

You could probably email and ask. If they don't get back to you that's not a good sign. (As others mentioned there are public universities in the area that also offer a marketing major). You also might find data at https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/.

The long held reputation of UHart is that it is a school for the rich and stupid. Only their performing arts school is really respected.
