I guess so, but it's important to care about other people, and to care what other people think. You don't show up at a funeral or to church in sweat pants, for example (I personally think adults shouldn't wear them in public). You give people a break even when they're coughing or doing other annoying things, because they cannot help it. You care about your work and the feelings of others.

It's part of the social contract to give a f*ck.
