Narcissism is loud, generosity is quiet. If you’re just a passive listener, guess which you’ll notice more? But if you actively look for it, you’ll find there is exponentially more generosity than narcissism in the world.

Sometimes it's hard to dig yourself out in the moment, so I don't focus on that. I focus on the next positive thing. Can I make a stranger smile? Help someone who needs it? Just putting that energy out into the world reminds you that it's there.

as I am finding, it takes inner goodness and light to balance the darker days, where ever they may come from.
