I wish I had a wife to poke me in the back to try harder but also maybe she would leave me for being useless and then i'd be depressed for like a year or something. ._.

A successful marriage isn’t your spouse pushing you to do more. That’s toxic and unhealthy. A successful marriage is you wanting to do more so you and your spouse can reap the rewards while your spouse cheers you on and helps however they can. (While you do the same for them.)
