Thanks for sharing. Really needed this today. Holidays are hard but I am going to use the law of attraction to bring happiness into my life no matter what is happening around me. I will find my joy in the little things and give gratitude, for what we have today, may be gone tomorrow. Too many people forget that these days. Abe Lincoln went through a lot in his day. Lost multiple children and his first wife. He learned the hard way to appreciate the little things in life and God bless him for all that he did for this nation. Now, I know he was not perfect but he did his best.

If I recall, Washington initially declared the first public day of thanksgiving, and then Lincoln officially declared it a national holiday.
