It always seems strange to disparage like this a person you chose to marry. Shouldn’t we blame ourselves? Going through the big D myself now

Sometimes, people begin doing things once you get married to them, that they didn’t do before. People change, not always for the best. I got hit with a lot of bullets, but dodged the cannonballs.

I can’t lie, my spouse did the same thing. I kept it together for ten years but getting married changed them completely. I still mourn the loss of the woman I was dating.
