It still is easy to say this since you got another chance after your failures.
Many of us who do fail? Never get a second chance. We fail once? That's it. We never get another chance.

I hear you. Sometimes I feel same way. Yet, even incredibly successful people will eventually, like all us run out of chances. I wish you the best crazycokid :)

Sometimes you can do everything right and still fail because of factors outside your control. The question is if thay makes you lose your chances.
For all we know the next Michael Jordan twisted their ankle on their big day.

I think temporarily not completing your goal isn’t an outright failure. Especially in a situation such as playing basketball. He was on a path towards obtaining the highest accolade and achieved it. Learning from your mistakes is a part of the recipe for success. Let’s put this in a scenario most of us go through…. Lets say you work a job as a cleaner/janitor and the main goal of that job is to have the area you’re assigned to be clean and presentable. You have little experience in the beginning because cleaning is new to you. As you grow in your job you learn what works and what doesn’t. I think true failure is when you quit and don’t work towards any goals.

This, making mistakes isn't failing, it's part of the process to becoming great

Even if you make a mistake sometimes that can get you not given another chance. But this is a very good way to put it.
