So how do I refill my emotional tank? I already do a lot of the things on the right, like spending quality alone time and staying away from people that drain my energy… but that “signs your emotional tank is empty” section hits too close to home…

Personally, I start with identifying what triggers or causes the tank to drain. See if those can be minimized and/or avoided.
Here's a few other things you can try:
- Nature, take a walk, breath fresh air.
- Mindfulness and meditation
- Sounds cheesy, but thankfulness, make a list of things you're thankful for, this refills positive energy
- Don't negate the basics. (staying hydrated, eating healthy, quality sleep)

Does the designer understand how checklists work? You can’t put a checkbox next to each line of a paragraph and call it a list. That’s how you ended up with trying to figure out whether to check off “▪️ look at them, own them”

You're talking about toxicity, but then describing any and all negativity as a sign of personal stress. That in and of itself is toxic.
Remember kids: sometimes it's okay to have negative emotions every once and a while. That's how you know you're a functioning human being and not a robot. Insisting otherwise is what we call "toxic positivity."

“Ignore opinions that don’t enhance your life” seems kind antithetical to the entire first part of “maybe you’re the a-hole”…

Good point, i think here they assume that you would be able to reasonably distinguish what is a valid or worthy 'opinion'. When it comes to an opinion that expresses critisism it can be very hard to do that if you are not very confidant

Not knowing what you are going to have for dinner isn't really an emotional issue. I'm going to have some food and not knowing exactly what it is isn't "killing my vibe" at all.
