Wouldn't it be standing in front of it all, watching it burn, looking optimistic?

This stickman has land and seeds and apparently access to water.

Don’t be afraid to rework yourself too, starting from ground zero is not going to be the play much of the time.

Fire is cleansing, yes, and does have some symbolism of rebirth (phoenix comes to mind).

But in terms of symbolism for trying something new and improved, a young plant that will grow makes way more sense than watching something burning. That kind of imagery invokes a sense of acceptance to me.

If anyone in here needed a hug today I'm sending lots out on the winds to the 4 corners of the earth. Step outside, take a deep breath in, relax, feel the air. The hug is there for YOU, may the sentiment bring even a little strength to your day friends ❤️

God this so so much. I feel like society has trained us so much that if you aren’t on one continuous path something is wrong with you. I was a teacher. Then I became an admin and hated it. So I left to pursue theater work as a designer for 5 years and now I’m ready to go back into teaching so i have a more consistent schedule and have better benefits to have kids. The side eyes I have gotten from people is weird, like im some kind of terrible employee. Normalize trying different things in life, you will be happier in the long wrong if you get out of something that isn’t right for you at that point in time.

Everything starts with a seed I hate to say it bluntly but in order for something to live that means something must die. Don’t be afraid to let old ways, habits and relationships die so that healthier ones can start

Let me tell you something. I’ve started over so many times. I’m sick of it. It’s fucking brutal to have to scrape up from the bottom over and over. I hate it. Now I’m just ready to be over. But I’m still to far down to stop. Life is a scam.

It's feeling like all you've done is for nothing that makes starting over feel daunting. Yes, you maybe starting over but that doesn't mean that you didn't gain anything from the experience before!

Totally agree on this. If a door closed, there is some opportunity door that will open. Maybe this time not for you yet, try it again a better time soon. Maybe :)
