I just hate all the doomerism in this sub. Every advance in ai is met with fears of mass unemployment, longevity with fears of the rich living forever. The best bet for the future is steady advancement

There is a more obvious explanation: Reddit changed its algorithm for ranking posts, perhaps to increase engagement.

Mods deleting good comments for “being too short,” but instead should be removing low effort posts. I bet this gets deleted for being too short.

I’m hoping to see more optimistic futurism. Let’s see how we can improve, not keep harping on change as the enemy.
