Billions of people won’t go extinct overnight it’ll be relatively slow—think about endangered animals that have only 20-30 animals left of their species; still with such a low count it takes years for them to finally die off.

humanity has been significantly worse off at various points in history, we have a lot of science and tech looking at these problems and a fairly high level of global cooperation it’ll probably be alright

Define "end". If you're talking about a full-on extinction apocalypse - no. Humans are far too adaptable for that. If you're talking about a major shift in the world order and what we consider the structure of society - maybe.

No it'll keep on turning Humanity on the other hand Can't shake the instinct folks like suspicious observer and the cataclysm cycle people are correct and all we see now is in preparation
