Depends on how you look at it. If you copy a file from one computer to another without altering it, is it still the same file? If you move your conciousness in the same way, why wouldnt it be the "same" just like the file is.

When you transfer a file from your hard drive to a USB, the computer copies it onto the USB and then either keeps or deletes the original on the hard drive…. Which is what we’re talking about here. So no, it wouldn’t be the same to you- just an outside observer.

Afaik the only difference between copying and moving a file is deleting the "original" afterwards.
