It's absolutely unethical, however take a look at the price increase for insulin and EpiPen's in the US to see how little that can matter.

I think at least one difference here is that "treatments" are distributable and dividable in a way that housing isn't. We have a housing shortage in a way that I don't think we could have a "life extension medication shortage"— ie. whereas any degree of life extension is an advantage, a house is only beneficial as a whole. Life extension seems easier to share equitably. But, yeah, I don't disagree that life extension won't be fairly distributed without hard or impossible political work.
