There is a samsung promo/ad post that refers to this sub. My theory is people are being re-subbed or auto-subbed by Reddit admins so that the context of the ad makes sense.

I didn't subscribe either. I thought it was just the algorithm showing me similar subreddits but seeing this thread made me check and I am subbed here too. I never even heard of this sub until maybe a week ago when it started showing up relentlessly in my feed.
