Isn't tiktok owned by tencent? Wasn't there mention of some backdoor code? I might be tripping myself!

Tiktok is owned by ByteDance. Although I think Tencent have shares in ByteDance.

Thanks. I know Tencent is a huge company and has their hands in a lot of data.

Yeh put it this way. The list of tech companies Tencent don't have shares in, is probably a lot shorter than the list of companies they do.
