Can't resist the feeling those are two different pictures. Amazing scenery though.

We hiked one of the trails that lead to the cliffs. It was amazing. Didn’t realize til we were heading back around sunset that the trail wouldn’t be lit. So no rest for the weary. Probably my favorite hike, ever.

That place is unbelievably beautiful! love it there.

The helicopter tours were much closer to sea-level than we were. Amazing views and unspoiled land.
sleeknub t1_j94shvf wrote
Do you know the name of the trail?
Substantial_Act3036 t1_j957rz9 wrote
I wish. It was several years back. You’d see a multi-multi-rooted tree on the way. Ask a guide or see what’s on google. I got a feeling there are few bad trails.

Do you remember all the debates about mountains Vs sea?
supermariofunshine t1_j92vqld wrote
This is the best of both worlds, just like near Vancouver where you can see the ocean from Whistler Mountain
sleeknub t1_j94t0u7 wrote
….at the risk of saying something stupid, and recognizing that it’s been several years since I’ve been to Whistler, I’m pretty sure you can’t see the ocean from the top of Whistler Mountain (or anywhere on it). Certainly not most of the time, but I think never.

Worked on a cruise ship in Hawaii and sailed past this thing 12 times. Amazing every time.
Would have loved to have seen it from a smaller boat and got closer or walked some of those beaches.

Yep it’s been rainy all week unfortunately
Ok-Resolution-8078 t1_j95gfrt wrote
Is it raining where the beaches are or just in the mountains? Cos I believe there is a wet and dry side of the island, right?
Waikiki_Jay t1_j97e4ti wrote
All over
higs119 OP t1_j97j5h8 wrote
This is on the wet side of the island for sure but that’s also why it’s so lush.
