You've lived in Boulder for years but you don't recognize the view from the Chautauqua trailhead?

I never went to Chatauqua. I don't do well in open fields with the blaring sun. I went Northwards more often than not. So I was in Boulder Canyon or Estes if I was walking.

More… desolate? Chautauqua is full of 100 year old mansions and down the street from the university.
