Are you referring to the big storms the north island of New Zealand have had recently? If so, nope the weather down in the South Island where Mt Earnslaw is has been fine the whole time, it’s actually bordering on drought conditions with extreme fire danger in the area

Nope, it was lovely and clear for the next few days! This was back in October.
