Can you zoom in? It's too high up, I can't see any of the ferrets. 😞

Definitely an interesting part of Italy. French is widely spoken by the natives. The Montblanc tunnel goes from here to Switzerland. The Swiss on the other side speak Italian! Some of the best skiing in Italy is in this area.

Beautiful shot! I was just there in August. I'd just like to point out something cool that I didn't know about until I returned from my trip and took a close look at my own photos... if you zoom in carefully you can see Bivacco Gervasutti; it's a crazy fiberglass composite tube bivouac perched halfway up the glacier complete with a dining room and sleep space for 12. Ridiculously impressive, or maybe impressively ridiculous?

Anyways, hope you found that interesting. Happy trails!

Beautiful area. I'll likely never go back unless in winter time. It turns out I'm badly allergic to the alpine grass they have in this valley. I could barely breathe when I went there. On the Chamonix side completely fine. Weird.

Btw everyone I hope you all know the sun will eventually burn up the entire planet . No need to send yourself into a depression bc of natural warming and cooling or the planet 🤷‍♂️ enjoy what you have today and stop worrying about climate change bc there isn’t a damn thing any of us can do about it

One of my favorite places. My father-in-law loved to go trout fishing in the river at the bottom of the valley (invisible here).

He died some years ago and his ashes were strewn into the river.
