It isn't man made, this was taken just after dawn in winter, besides cropping and a tad light adjustment this is just as the original photo.

On location being man-made, yes and no TBH

This was a natural lake that was subsequently dammed using a small levvee, to increase the level of water for use in agriculture, so is referred to locally as a reservoir but was initially a natural lake.
