So if itβs infrared film all that indicates a lot of melty bits right?
Do you know if this is standard, or would this be showing the increased extent of melt due to climate change impact? π€π« π

All the red is green grass, the grass reflects IR. What I may be assuming you see as melty bits are various rock formation that look rounded over from erosion. There is no snow present when I took this photo just late Autumn grasses and moss.

Thanks for explaining, guess it was my own cultural biases & preconceptions based on incomplete knowledge that led me to assume all that lush vegetation πΎ was snow βοΈ. Sorry! π¬
