to anyone considering going, that beach is absolutely gorgeous in far more ways than just this. I highly recommend it

Agreed. You can spend an entire day there. One of the best ones on the west coast!

During winter solstice the sunset shines through the hole; but it’s become so well known there’ll be 50+ people crowded there at sunset trying to get their shot. There’s also purple sand, especially after a rain washing manganese garnet out of the cliffs above the beach.
