What’s the best way to spend a weekend night? For me, it’s heading 7 hours away from home, waiting until after 3am for the moon to set and then pointing my camera off into the heavens.
Background on this image is that barely dry mud tiles like these are really cool. They also sink about 6” into the mud when you accidentally drive onto them in the dark.
So, that being the case, and the fact that I was out there alone with my kids, I decided that venturing out to find them in the dark for the perfect single image photo wasn’t gonna happen.
