Okay I'm glad you called that out. I'm not a photographer so I don't want to speak about what I don't understand but I always find the "smoothed out" water shots much less pleasant that ones like this.

it's up there with freakishly enhanced colours, for me.

Like, if a waterfall or sunset is beautiful, you shouldn't have to crank up fancy effects to 10!

In my neighbourhood Black Creek is confined to a sad concrete trough. I know it's probably for flood control or something but this is much nicer
