What is this, Rhode Island?

Is RI just sand?

Rhode Island is neither a road nor an island and this pic is neither Silver nor a Lake.

Correct. But it is of Silver Lake https://www.michigan.org/city/silver-lake

Iโm sure it is, Iโm just making a terrible pun based on an old terrible pun.

Lol. I figured. Sometimes itโs just so hard to tell. And if I assume itโs a pun and react accordingly, that can also backfire. ๐

Nice link, thank you. For other campgrounds (including Silver Lake) near the same area:

What they didn't capture was the lake itself. This is just the sandy area where they use dune buggies to ride around on.

Silver Lake is a city as well. Itโs more than just a lake. And IMO the dunes are the most exciting part.

Yep, I've been there. We don't live far from it. I thought there was so much more beauty to capture, but the sand buggies are fun.

Oh I have many more pictures from there ๐

Yay! New Era, Michigan is a beautiful area. Thank you for sharing the picture. It made me smile to see a familiar place :)

I didn't see any big cities up there. There are some towns, but I don't believe the population is over 3k if that. From what I've seen, most of it is agricultural. We've bought some hogs from farmers up that way. I've seen a lot of dairy farms along the way.
