TLDR: I fit my wall mount tight and secure but the wrong way around, I had to then re-do the job and the wall bots are not tightening. Is there anything I can do to make it more secure without moving the location of the mount? Any help is much apprecieted!
Last night I mounted my 55" TV however the wall bolts will not tighten.
I began by measuring everything up then drilling a test hole to find the depth of the dot and dab plasterboard. I then assembled the mount, placed it perfectly and marked up. After drilling 6 holes to match the plate I put the plugs in, placed the mount on the wall and then screwed the bots in a little to catch the plugs and then hammered them in as far as they would go into the wall before tighening solid.
Job well done!
.... Well no, the TV mount was on upside down! (I could have sword I had checked but evidently not)
I had to then pull everything off taking out the screws and delicately pull the plugs into the plasterboard to hold them in place before fitting again.
The big issue is now only one of the 6 bolts will tighten fully. The rest just keep turning.
Plugs at 10mm and about 80mm long and the botls are about 12mm long.
**My question is: Can any of you please help or advise on a fix for this without having to move the location of the holes as it really is perfect center on a small width floor to ceiling wall**

You hammered the bolts? I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure bolts are never meant to be hammered. Only nails get hammered. You probably broke the anchors, or plugs as you called them. I could be wrong though.
