Hi.
In my living room I have a dimmer switch on one wall and an on/off switch on the opposite wall.
I attempted to put a dimmable led bulb in, there were some sparks and the circuit breaker tripped. Now the light doesn't work.
The lamp holder contact looked damaged afterwards so I changed the pendant (not the ceiling rose) but still doesn't work even with standard bulbs.
Could one of the switches be faulty now? Where should I look? All wires on ceiling rose look to be ok.
Any advice most appreciated.

You need to take a voltage tester and trace it back. Lamp holder, dimmer switch, then trace the circuit back to your panel. If you have outlets on that circuit, I would check to see if they are the push in types. They can melt when you trip the breaker.
