I am replacing the old 1970’s carpet with LVP flooring and when I ripped up the old carpet I found 3/4” particle board underlay with water damage under the window. After removing the underlay I found the same damage to the subfloor. The water damage was caused by a leaking window which was replaced long before I bought the house. The wood has been dry, but some damage has been done. I cut out as much subfloor as I could and replaced with approved OSB, but there’s still some damaged wood in the areas I couldn’t get to. Any advice?

Might be better to post some photos so others can see the damage
