We picked up this tabletop for 90% off at their outlet - thought it’d be a good learning experience.
The tabletop has a matte finish, and i’m not sure the best way to repair this area that chipped out. I tried a quickcrete mix and smooth finish mix, but those didn’t work too well so I removed them. The color was a bit light, too, although I could probably fix that.
I’m more so concerned with what the proper way to do it would be. Apart from the large chip, there’s some surface scratches which I imagine I could potentially buff out.
Any thoughts are super appreciated :)

You can dye the patch material, if all else fails you could use a marine fairing compound and paint it to match. Or fix it and paint the while thing to make it even.
