Hey everyone,
Just after some advice regarding a crack in my wall and if anyone's solved a similar issue before.
We have recently purchased a beautiful house with some qwerky repair efforts. The one I am working on at the moment is in my office.
One of the walls has a large crack from where two sheets of plaster join. In the long run I am going to get this entire wall redone but for the interim I was going to pursue a DIY fix.
I wondered if a crack this size would be effectively repaired with joiner tape and compound. I have only ever repaired smaller cracks so would appreciate any advice.
Thanks so much!

A crack is a sign the foundation is sinking. Some cracks formed when the house was built and settled and are fine.
Others are not fine.
