It was originally name " This Old House" and recently rebranded as "Ask This Old House", which began the rapid decline of the franchise.
Huh? 2 different shows, unless I missed something recently.
One show, two names. Ask This Old House began as a segment of This Old House. The former host, Steve Thomas, left the show and the Ask guys took over the whole show. Bob Vila was the original host. Home Time was a really good show that did projects that everyday DIY people could do. Cute co- host too.
I think we have a terminology issue here because I am very familiar with the history of the shows.
My apologies, Ask This Old House is a spinoff of the original series. Where it is aired on my system it totally replaced the original series causing the confusion on my part. Crow for breakfast;-)
Yeah I thought Home Time was a good show, the Minnesotan-folkiness shown through and they weren't afraid of showing mistakes or the real timeline on a project.
No, Ask this Old House is a secondary show they started at least 20 years ago. On my PBS station, they air back to back.
i canceled the magazine over a decade ago when it convinced my wife i was capable of installing a bluestone patio over a 48 hr weekend. toh has been delusional homeowner fantasy porn for a long time.
nothing can be worse than Tamara Day
Not familiar with her, and from your comment I'm glad to have missed her
I still enjoy the show.
"projects aimed at those with massive funding" - I second this.
