This was the house we bought. The Realtor/Interior Decorator/Wife of the couple we bought it from shiplapped about a third of the walls and luckily only 1 barn door and a wall for a pocket door that 3x times winder than it needs to be (like how much pumpkin spice you need to hide?) We flattened the walls nearly perfectly, added Ikea complements to the master wall and switched the barn door to a homemade magic door (hidden mount hardware). To be fair, there is one spot where I think the shiplap looks good and we keot that piece.
