What kind of flooring? Like a tile or laminate? I'd say just buy extra of the flooring you are installing so you have matching if you damage any or need more during your future remodel. Store it until then.

I’d buy enough extra so you have matching flooring when you do the bathroom. Don’t waste time trying to get it installed and lining up with your existing toilet/sink/cabinets when you might get new ones later. If you do the floor now, you’ll also have to protect it later when you do the rest of the renovations.

We are in a similar situation. Be sure about the type of vanity you want. Specifically, is it floating or not. These days it is fashionable to floor under the vanity, so many of them for sale are designed like that. We ended up getting one like that and I wish we hadn't because now we have to do the vanity and the floor at the same time (my old vanity had the flooring installed around it).
