Inflation is a made up word to give a terrible reason why pricing goes up. It goes up because the owner wants to maintain profits. Profits is misappropriation of company funds. If they were appropriately invested the company would be more efficient but profit is a waste, nothing pro about it but for the top tier.

That seems a little steep, but not crazy. Concrete has gone up (yay, inflation) as has labor.
